好色而破产的汽车修理厂老板林红光（彭波 饰）接到房地产公司抠门老板的一单特殊任务：搞一辆宝马3系车烧给自己因车祸死去的儿子。林红光低价收买经过香港洪兴过气的社团顾问B哥（吴志雄 饰）包装后的周日发（成宗焕 饰）的黑社会团队来执行计划，而自己却拿着房地产公司给的经费寻花问柳。为了能够顺利泡到一个富家 怨妇，林红光学习打高尔夫球并从苏瑞（戎祥 饰）手里强行借来宝马汽车充面子。就在林红光即将得手的时刻，富家女突发急病，人事不知。以为富家女死去的林红光只得将富家女藏在汽车后备箱内准备处置，却被突然赶到得苏瑞强行开走车子。
苏瑞郁闷回家醉酒人事不知时，爱车如命、见义勇为的刘自立（陈小春 饰）、要偷走富家女“尸体”的林红光、执着的周日发社团，全部都开始围绕宝马汽车进行各种行动。
于是，在重庆都市的暗夜里，多条线索、多路人马引发了一场百辆汽车追逐宝马轿车刺激场面…...
