兽医牛一品，为女友购买了一颗价值不菲的钻石项坠，却不慎丢失。为欺骗女友，牛一品欲出高价购买售货员小霞的仿真钻石项坠，却遭到小霞的拒绝。
下岗职工“洋洋”妈养的爱犬“洋洋”突然丢失，伤心欲绝，她将此迁怒于老伴儿。
患有自闭症的涛涛无意间捡到小狗“洋洋”。 涛涛在与“洋洋”和小伙伴们的不断接触中，渐渐变得开朗起来。
狗贩子大头二楞欲从涛涛手中夺得“洋洋”卖钱，不料被几个孩子大大戏耍了一番。
“洋洋”妈打探到涛涛收留了“洋洋”，便上门索要，涛涛不舍。
无意间，“洋洋”把小霞的仿真钻石项坠吞下。
为保“洋洋”安全，小霞请牛一品把仿真钻石项坠取出，并答应以坠作为报酬。牛大喜。为得到“洋洋”肚子中的仿真钻石项坠，费尽心思，出够洋相。
