时尚杂志小编辑程羽蒙（倪妮 饰）准备了几个月的意大利托斯卡纳之行被主编（刘孜 饰）无情改成了尼泊尔旅行团，无奈的她只好跟着由几个大妈组成的“大姐团”、没礼貌的富二代王灿（井柏然 饰）、失恋的职场新人“李热血”（刘雅瑟 饰）一起开启了尼泊尔之行。程羽蒙这次行程被要求完成一个有关于幸福的稿子，但是问题不断的她基本上写不出来，而她的团友们也有着各式各样的问题，尤其是富二代王灿，总干着令人生厌的事情。随着旅行的深入两人愈发势不两立，可在经历了许多遭遇之后两人的关系得以缓和，在旅行结束前的最后一天王灿邀请她进行了人生第一次的滑翔，在等着风起的时候，程羽蒙的内心终于得到了平静。
本片改编自鲍鲸鲸的小说《游记，或是指南》，片名来自于小说中滑翔教练的话。
