吴用命顾大嫂和孙新，务必说服叶春暗中在海鳅图上做手脚，给梁山预留攻击破绽！两人改名换姓，假装兄妹，来到造船厂附近的东山客栈守株待兔。并花大价钱跟老板娘铁红玉租下一个大厅，开起了赌馆，经营的红红火火。不出所料，高俅一伙住进了东山酒店。叶春父子被软禁在后院，只等高俅大军到来。
孙新不仅长相帅气，而且赌技超群、仗义直言，替饭店店主铁红玉出了一次头。那风流倜傥的劲头被店主的女儿扣扣看中了，死缠滥打。为了嫁给孙新，还来托“妹妹”顾大嫂说和。顾大嫂哭笑不得，万般推脱。可扣扣执意要嫁，她又是铁红玉的宝贝疙瘩，得罪不得，顾大嫂只得忍气周旋，引来笑料不断。...
