剧情：
自幼生长在江户的少爷（二宫和也 饰）耿直鲁莽，一言不合就挥拳相向，但是他绝对不会昧心说谎，颠倒黑白。在惹出一连串麻烦后，他被校长（佐藤浩市 饰）推荐去一处穷乡僻壤的中学任教。临行前一向疼爱他的女佣阿清（宫本信子 饰）百般叮咛，千万不可冲动行事。少爷懵懵懂懂地来到该学校，校长（岸部一德 饰）一团和气，毕业于帝大的教导主任（及川光博 饰）则是学校内的实权人物，他口蜜腹剑，掌管着所有人的命运。少爷和前辈数学老师（古田新太 饰）不打不相识，耿直的二人共同进退，因此受到教导主任的嫉恨。而英语老师（山本耕史 饰）因与刨冰姑娘（松下奈绪 饰）相恋，也受到追求女孩的教导主任的排挤。身处漩涡中的少爷，绝不会就此低头认输…… 本片根据夏目漱石的原作改编。
